Buying it, and when not to
The Nova MW6 three-pack is an AC1200 dual-band whole-home Wi-Fi mesh system, rated by Tenda for about 3,500 square feet across three nodes. It is the long-standing, well-understood Nova pack, and it is still the best-value way to cover a whole house in this catalogue.
Quote it for an ordinary three-zone home on an ordinary plan: three units, one per floor or per wing, no controller, no app subscription, nothing for the customer to configure beyond the app walkthrough. For installers doing volume residential work, this is the pack that gets agreed to without a long conversation about standards, and the coverage result is what the customer actually judges you on.
If the household is device-heavy, or on a plan fast enough to notice, the Wi-Fi 6 Nova EX3 and EX12 packs have genuine headroom that this does not. If the property is only one or two zones, the two-pack is the right size and cheaper. And if this is a commercial site - a guest house, a restaurant, an office with staff and public networks to keep apart - consumer mesh is the wrong tool whatever the coverage: cable the building and hang i24 or i26 ceiling access points on a PoE switch.
