Returns, refunds and delivery

Written down, in plain words, so you know what happens before you transfer money rather than after. These terms apply to equipment bought from this website or on a proforma invoice from our office.

1. Ordering and payment

Every order is confirmed on a proforma invoice carrying a unique order reference before any payment is made. The proforma states the items, the quantities, the unit prices, VAT at 7.5% and the total.

Payment is by bank transfer against that proforma, or by card where card payment is offered at checkout. We do not accept cash on delivery for equipment orders, and we do not ask for payment to any personal account. If anyone asks you to pay NOK Networks into a personal account, it is not us — call +234 912 661 8420 before you send anything.

Prices on this website are in Naira and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT at 7.5% is added on the invoice.

2. How long a price holds

A published price holds for seven days from the day you see it. Equipment prices in Nigeria move with the exchange rate, so beyond seven days we requote rather than honour a stale figure.

A price on a proforma invoice holds until that proforma expires, which is stated on the document itself. Once you have paid against a proforma, the price on it is the price, whatever happens to the exchange rate afterwards.

3. Delivery and collection

Collection from our office at FL 527, Top Floor, beside First Bank Plc, Ojo Igbede Road, Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos. Bring your order reference.

Delivery across Lagos, and nationwide by courier. Delivery cost is quoted on the proforma, not hidden at the end. Where an item has to be sourced rather than taken from stock, we tell you the lead time before you pay, not after.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. For courier shipments, inspect the packaging before you sign for it and note any damage on the courier's record — that note is what lets us claim against them on your behalf.

4. Returns

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not what the invoice describes, tell us within 7 days of delivery or collection and we will replace it or refund it. Call or WhatsApp +234 912 661 8420 with your order reference and, where you can, a photograph of the fault.

Return the item with its box, accessories and documentation. An item returned without its packaging can usually still be replaced, but a manufacturer may refuse a warranty claim on it, which limits what we can do.

Equipment that has been installed, configured, physically modified, or damaged by power surge, water, lightning or mishandling is not returnable as faulty. That is not us being difficult — a manufacturer will not accept it from us either. Fit surge protection; we will quote it with the order if you ask.

Software, licences and activated subscriptions cannot be returned once issued, because they cannot be un-issued.

Special-order items brought in specifically for you can be returned only if the supplier will take them back. We tell you before you pay when an item is in that position.

5. Refunds

Where a refund is due, we pay it to the same account the money came from, within 7 working days of the returned item reaching us and being checked. A card payment is refunded to that card; a bank transfer is refunded to the account it was sent from. We do not refund to a different account than the one that paid.

If we cannot supply something you have already paid for — a supply failure, a price we got wrong, anything on our side — you get a full refund including any delivery you paid, and you get it without having to argue for it.

Where a return is a change of mind rather than a fault, and we agree to take the item back, the refund is the item price less any delivery already incurred and any cost of returning it.

6. Warranty

Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty for that product. We are the route to that warranty: bring the item and your order reference to us and we handle the claim with the manufacturer or distributor.

A warranty covers manufacturing defect. It does not cover power surge, lightning, water, physical damage, or a unit opened by somebody else. In Nigeria, surge is the commonest killer of network equipment and the commonest reason a warranty claim is refused.

Where we have installed a system under a maintenance agreement, that agreement states its own response times and what it covers, and it sits above this page.

7. Cancelling an order

You can cancel any order before it ships or before you collect, and get your money back in full. Tell us on +234 912 661 8420 with your order reference.

Once an item has shipped, cancelling becomes a return and section 4 applies.

8. If something goes wrong

Call or WhatsApp +234 912 661 8420, or walk into the office. Give us your order reference. We would rather hear it from you than read it somewhere else.

If we cannot settle it between us, nothing on this page takes away your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
