Buying it, and when not to

The ME6 Pro single pack is one BE5100 Wi-Fi 7 mesh node. On its own it works as a capable router for a flat or a floor; its real purpose is to be part of a system you can build up over time.

Buy single units in two situations. First, when a customer's budget arrives in stages: start with one node now, add a second when the money is there, without discarding anything. Second, when an existing ME6 Pro system needs an extra node for a back building, an upstairs or an outbuilding that the original pack never reached. Stocking singles also lets you replace one failed node in an installed system rather than selling a whole new pack.

If you already know the property needs three zones, the three-pack is better value than three singles and lets you place the nodes properly on install day. If the customer's connection is modest and their devices are older, a Wi-Fi 7 node is money spent on a standard nothing in the house can use - an AC10 router or a Nova MW6 pack gives them the same experience for much less. And for a commercial site needing guest separation and per-user control, this is still consumer mesh; look at the W30E or a ceiling access point build.
