Buying it, and when not to

The Nova MW6 two-pack is an AC1200 dual-band whole-home Wi-Fi 6 mesh system, rated by Tenda for around 2,500 square feet across two nodes. Two nodes, dual-band, no controller, nothing to subscribe to.

This is the entry-level mesh sale and a large share of residential coverage jobs end here. The customer has one router in the sitting room and no signal in the back bedroom; two nodes placed properly solve it, and the price is low enough that the conversation does not stall. Put the first node where the service enters and the second within solid reach of it - ideally with a cable between them, which turns a mediocre mesh install into a good one.

If the house has a third dead area, the three-pack avoids an awkward return visit. If the household runs many modern devices or a fast plan, the Wi-Fi 6 Nova EX3 two-pack is the better buy for not a great deal more. If the whole property is really one room, a plain AC10 router does the job for less. And for any site where guests and staff must be kept apart, or where you need to control users, this is the wrong category of product - look at the W30E or a cabled access point build.
