Tenda ME3 Pro(3-pack) — BE3600 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi7 System

Buying it, and when not to

The ME3 Pro three-pack is a BE3600 whole-home mesh Wi-Fi 7 system. It is the volume Wi-Fi 7 mesh here: three nodes covering a whole property, one standard newer than the Nova AX systems, at a price that a normal residential customer will actually agree to.

This is the system to default to for a three-zone house - ground floor, upper floor, and the room at the back that nothing ever reaches. Mesh beats a single router in these buildings not because of raw speed but because it puts a radio in the room with the user instead of three walls away. Place one node at the service entry, cable between nodes where you can, and keep the third within reliable reach of the second.

If the property is a one or two-room flat, this is too much hardware; a single ME3 Pro unit or a TX2L Pro router will do. If the customer's connection and devices are both older, the Nova MW6 or Nova EX3 packs deliver comparable real-world coverage for less and nobody will notice the missing standard. If the building needs four or more zones, or there are staff and guest networks to keep apart, stop at mesh and price a cabled build with i26 or i27 ceiling access points behind a PoE switch.
