Buying it, and when not to
The HG6 is an N300 Wi-Fi GPON ONT - fibre termination with basic single-band WiFi built in. It is the budget subscriber unit: enough to get a household online over your fibre without a second box on the wall.
It fits the mass-market drop. Where the plan is entry-level and the customer's devices are phones and one laptop, an N300 radio is adequate and the saving per unit multiplies fast across a hundred subscribers. For an operator rolling out an estate on thin returns, this is the unit that makes the economics work.
Be honest about its ceiling. Single-band N300 struggles once several devices stream at the same time, and a customer on a higher-grade plan will blame your fibre for what is actually the ONT's radio. For those subscribers, start at the HG10 with its AC1200 dual-band radio, or the HG15 for Wi-Fi 6 and a phone port. If you bridge and let customers supply their own routers, the HG1 is cheaper still because you are not paying for a radio nobody uses. As always the unit must be provisioned on your OLT before it will carry traffic.

How this price works
The price above is in Naira and ex-VAT. VAT at 7.5% is added on the invoice.
A price holds for seven days from the day you see it. Equipment prices in Nigeria move with the exchange rate, so past seven days we requote rather than honour a stale figure.
Payment by bank transfer against a proforma invoice carrying your order reference. Collection from our office at Alaba International Market, delivery across Lagos, or courier nationwide. Carton pricing is quoted on request.
