Buying it, and when not to
The HG10 is an AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi xPON ONT. It terminates the customer's fibre and serves dual-band WiFi from the same box, which is the configuration most residential subscribers should be on: one device on the wall, 2.4GHz for phones and small devices, 5GHz for laptops and television.
This is the standard-issue subscriber unit for an operator who wants a tidy, consistent install across an estate or a street. One model to stock, one install procedure, one thing to replace when lightning takes one out. The dual-band radio is good enough that most customers will never ask for a separate router, which keeps the truck roll and the support calls down.
If the subscriber already has a capable router, or you deliberately bridge and let the customer own the WiFi, the HG1 is the cheaper unit and the right one. If the drop is a budget residential plan where expectations are modest, the HG6 and its N300 radio is cheaper. At the other end, a business customer who needs Wi-Fi 6 or an analogue phone port should be on the HG15. All of them still have to be provisioned against the OLT before service passes.

How this price works
The price above is in Naira and ex-VAT. VAT at 7.5% is added on the invoice.
A price holds for seven days from the day you see it. Equipment prices in Nigeria move with the exchange rate, so past seven days we requote rather than honour a stale figure.
Payment by bank transfer against a proforma invoice carrying your order reference. Collection from our office at Alaba International Market, delivery across Lagos, or courier nationwide. Carton pricing is quoted on request.
