Buying it, and when not to
The TEG1120P-16-150W is an unmanaged switch with 18 gigabit ports and 2 SFP slots, PoE on 16 ports, on a 150W budget. Sixteen powered gigabit drops with two fibre uplinks.
This is the mid-size commercial workhorse: a floor of offices with six access points and eight cameras, a hotel wing, a school block, a clinic. Everything runs at gigabit so access points are not throttled, the two SFP slots allow a fibre uplink and a fibre link to another building or another switch, and sixteen powered ports covers most single-building jobs without chaining.
Check the power budget against the actual devices, not the port count: 150W over sixteen ports is a little over 9W each, which is comfortable for cameras and modest access points but tight for sixteen AX3000-class units. Where the drops are power-hungry, the TEG1120P-16-250W is the same switch with a far larger budget and is worth the difference. For low-power camera-only sites, the fast-Ethernet TEF1118P-16-150W is noticeably cheaper. And for a site that needs VLANs, guest isolation or remote management, the cloud-managed TEG2220P-16-250W is the better specification.

A price holds for seven days from the day you see it. Equipment prices in Nigeria move with the exchange rate, so past seven days we requote rather than honour a stale figure.
