Buying it, and when not to

The U11 Pro is an AX900 Wi-Fi 6 USB wireless adapter - the upper model of the pair, sitting just above the standard U11.

Specify it for the desktop that matters: a workstation on a Wi-Fi 6 network doing file work, a POS or back-office machine where a dropped connection loses money, a machine being upgraded specifically because its old adapter was unreliable. Where a customer has invested in a Wi-Fi 6 router or ceiling access points, giving the main computers Wi-Fi 6 adapters is what makes that investment visible to them - the connection on the machine they use all day is what they judge the network by.

For ordinary browsing and email, this is more adapter than the task needs and the W311MI nano stick does it for a fraction of the price.
