The i26 is an AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 ceiling access point - the entry point into Wi-Fi 6 for a cabled commercial install. One Ethernet cable carries data and power; the unit mounts flat on the ceiling and covers the floor beneath it.

This is the sensible default for new commercial work. Most phones arriving on a site now are Wi-Fi 6 capable, and the benefit shows up as the device count climbs: a room of thirty phones behaves better than it does on 11AC hardware at a similar price. Use it for offices, shops, guest houses, clinics and schools, powered from a PoE switch sized for the number of units - a TEG1110PF-8-120W covers a typical small site.

If the site is genuinely dense or high-throughput - a co-working floor, a conference room, a busy restaurant - the AX3000-class i27 has real headroom over this. If it is a large hall or warehouse where reach matters more than capacity, the i29 long-range unit is the right pick. If the budget will not stretch and the device count is modest, the i24 saves money with the older standard. And for exposed or outdoor mounting, use the OAP1200 - no ceiling access point is built for weather.
